The Motorola MH7022 router and satellite can be enabled using the Minim Care Portal. To get these units up and running, please follow the below steps.
To begin, navigate to the Inventory tab of the Care Portal. You should see a list of devices that have not been assigned to an account yet. When Motorola units are purchased from Minim, each device's MAC address will be placed within the ISP's Inventory. Locate the MAC address on the unit with the blue Router sticker on the front. The MAC address can be found on the back of the Router. Find the matching entry in your inventory. Click the Enable link to the right of the Router's MAC address.
The page will redirect to the Activate Customer form. Fill in the fields relevant to your workflow. We recommend at least inputting the name and the installation address. Click the Activate button when finished.
TIP 1 - The information that is filled in on this page can be used to search for the account. The information can be updated later if needed. We'll show you how once the account is activated.
TIP 2 - You can use the Customer ID field to associate the Minim customer account with an internal tracking system within your business.
Next, follow the steps outlined in this guide to set up the Motorola MH7022 Router. Once you have completed the process in the guide, the router will show as online in the Care Portal.
Navigate back to the customer page with the Router enabled. Under the Access Points section, you will see a plus sign. Click on it. A pop-up will appear. In the MAC Address field, type the MAC address that is on the back of the Satellite.You can name the access point to help with identifying it. When finished, click on the Add to LAN button.
Next, follow the steps outlined in this guide to set up the Motorola MH7022 Satellite. Once you have completed the process in the guide, the Satellite will show as online in the Care Portal.
