The Timeline tab keeps a record of the events that occur on a network. These events can include the SSID and password being updated, the results of a speed test that was previously ran, or when a device joins the network. The information stored in this tab will remain until the customer's account is deactivated.

Types of events
There are 5 types of events that will be logged on the timeline. You can filter by event type by clicking on the corresponding label. This information can be very useful when troubleshooting issues with a customer. Each event is timestamped so you can determine when they took place.
LAN events record occurrences of devices connecting to the network for the first time, when the LAN goes offline, when the LAN is seen online again, and when devices are forgotten from the network. Usually these events are triggered by an action taken by the subscriber, such as connecting a new device to the Wi-Fi.

Messages - This event type will be used in the future
Config changes record instances where a setting is changed within the router. Settings can be applied using the Care Portal, the Minim App, or the SSH terminal. To learn more about the configuration change, click on the magnifying glass to the right of the event. A pop-up will appear, displaying the change made. Each event will notate who made the change. In the example below, the SSID and password update event, shows that it was made by a named user account. If the event does not have an email address listed, the change with made using the SSH terminal. The most recent 20 configuration changes will be stored on the timeline.

Speed tests record each time a user runs a speed test, either through the Care Portal or using the Minim App.

Security incidents will record each time they are detected. Once the incident has been resolved, there will be an event recorded. To learn more about the types of security incidents that are detected by Minim, click here.
