Sometimes entering the address of a subscriber does not yield the exact location of where the service is installed. Using latitude and longitude coordinates can help service providers with pinpointing the precise location of the home or business of the subscriber.
When enabling a LAN from the Inventory page of the Care Portal, users have the option to include coordinates instead of, or in addition to, to an address.

Finding the coordinates
To begin, open Google Maps in a new tab of a web browser. In the search bar, enter the physical address of the service location. We will use Minim's Manchester office as an example.

If the location is in a more rural area, orient the map to reflect the best view of where the service is (or will be) installed. Right-click on the location from the map to bring up a menu. You will find the coordinates displayed as the first option. Click on them. The coordinates will copy to your clipboard.

The first number (ie 42.99018905414002) will be the latitude and the second ( ie -71.46337946824926) is the longitude. Paste them into the corresponding fields of the Care Portal. The map will automatically update to show the new location.
